This is a little short notice, but a run of the .NET University has been scheduled for Birmingham next Monday and Tuesday night (December 11 and 12).  It will be held both night from 6PM to 8PM at the Southern Progress campus in Building 3.  You can get driving directions here.

If you aren't familiar with .NET University, it is essentially a free, community driven learning event to provide a technical overview of .NET Framework 3.0.  It encompasses Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), and Windows Cardspace. 

If you are available and these technologies interest you, I highly recommend that you attend.  The material is at an introductory level intended for a broad range of experience levels.  It would also benefit IT managers that are eager to learn a bit more about the next generation .NET Framework technologies.

Those who attend both nights will receive a .NET University T-Shirt, completion certificate, and be entered into a drawing for prizes.  I think we will have a Zune and a few other goodies for giveaways at the end of the event.
