Don't forget the next Birmingham .NET User Group meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 8th at 6:30PM. My co-worker and good friend, Todd Miranda, will be continuing his discussion of WPF from last month's meeting. Due to some awesome interaction with the audience, he was unable to complete the presentation. There was a lot of questions, which isn't a bad thing. So, mark it on your calendar. If you were there last month, don't miss out on the conclusion. If you didn't make it last month, we would still love to have you attend and learn about WPF.
It is very encouraging to see the user group continuing to mature. I always wanted to see the group get to a point where everyone felt comfortable to really get into the topics and ask questions. This is what user groups are all about!
Here my standard blurb about the user group:
Birmingham .NET User Group is a member of INETA and focuses on topics related to the Microsoft .NET development platform. Membership is completely free. There is no charge for attending and/or participating in group events. Our members are mostly developers and IT professionals from a wide range of experience levels and backgrounds. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30 PM at the CTS office in Riverchase. Meetings typically last between one to one and a half hours. Visit our website and register to receive information about events and access to the forums.
We hope to see you at the next meeting!
