Over the last couple of nights, I have been distracted with getting a new virtual machine setup to use as a playground for Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5. For now, I am still running VMWare Server, but I have been giving serious consideration to moving back over to Microsoft Virtual Server. At any rate, I have finally finished getting everything ready to go. So, I can finally get back to preparing some demos and sample code around the numerous new features that will be available with the next release of WCF.
There really is a LOT of cool new stuff that is coming in the 3.5 release of .NET in general, but WCF has a fairly substantial list of specific enhancements as well. Over the next month or so, I will be blogging almost exclusively about these new features. If you are a fellow WCF enthusiast that likes to keep up with the latest and greatest advancements, be sure to check back starting later this week for the beginning of the WCF 3.5 posting blitz.
